Lotr Rivendell,my first map.Rivendell is an [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elf_(Middle-earth)"]Elven[/url] outpost in [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle-earth"]Middle-earth[/url], a [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fictional_realm"]fictional realm[/url] created by [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._R._R._Tolkien"]J. R. R. Tolkien[/url]. It was established and ruled by [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elrond"]Elrond[/url] in the [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Age"]Second Age[/url] of Middle-earth (four or five thousand years before the events of [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lord_of_the_Rings"]The Lord of the Rings[/url]). In addition to Elrond and his family, notable Elves who lived there included [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glorfindel"]Glorfindel[/url] and [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erestor"]Erestor[/url].
